Jimmy Carrigan is a retired nurse tutor and lives in Killyclogher, County Tyrone. He has a daughter, Clare, and a son, Conor. Jimmy enjoys the craic with his family and friends, as well as fishing, writing poetry and storytelling. He was born into a rural way of life in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, which has almost been forgotten but is brought back to life, and preserved with wit and insightful observation skills on the pages of his first book, Gettin’ Past the Gander. Jimmy’s love of community life farming, history, and listening to and recounting stories inspired him to create this written legacy.
